The University of Wyoming women's golf team carded a 39-over 903 to finish in a tie for fourth place Tuesday at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The Cowgirls finished just 13 strokes back of team champion New Mexico State (890), with host Colorado State placing second (895) and San Francisco third (897).
Individually for UW, sophomore Samantha Hui tied for 16th with an 8-over 225. She was followed by junior Caitlyn Skavdahl (Natrona County) with a 226, senior Erin Sargent (227), sophomore Cristiana Ciasca (230) and sophomore Michelle Nguyen (236). Boise State's Lexie Perry won the tournament with a 1-over 217.
