The Wyoming volleyball team earned its first sweep of the Mountain West season Thursday, defeating San Diego State 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-22) at the UniWyo Sports Complex in Laramie.
The Cowgirls (9-7, 4-1 MW) had been pushed to five sets in each of their first four conference matches.
Jackie McBride paced UW with 12 kills, while Halie McArdle, Tara Traphagan and KC McMahon added 10 apiece. Kyra Slavik finishes with 37 assists and seven digs and Erika Jones had a team-high eight digs.
