The Wyoming volleyball team survived a five-set thriller in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Thursday, defeating Air Force 3-2 (25-17, 23-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-10) in Mountain West play.
It was the fourth consecutive five-set match for the Cowgirls (8-7, 3-1 MW) to begin conference action.
UW had three players finish with double-digit kills as Jackie McBride recorded a career-high 18, KC McMahon added 11 and Tara Traphagan 10. McBride also finished with seven blocks.
Also for the Cowgirls, Kyra Slavik had 43 assists and 22 digs and Erika Jones and Hailey Zuroskie both set career highs in digs with 16 and 12, respectively.
