Wyoming volleyball holds off UNLV in regular-season finale

The University of Wyoming volleyball team closed out the regular season in style Saturday with a 3-2 (25-21, 24-26, 25-19, 18-25, 15-11) victory over UNLV at the UniWyo Sports Complex.

Seniors Emily Lewis (16 kills), Cori Aafedt (27 assists, 10 digs) and Reed Copeland (five blocks) all had solid games for the Cowgirls (20-10, 12-6 Mountain West).

In addition, Haile McArdle added 11 kills and 13 digs, Marissa Hines had 17 assists, Madi Fields had a career-high 31 digs and Jaiden Chase had 11 digs.

The Cowgirls secured a third-place finish in the MW and won 20 matches for the first time in three years.
