The University of Wyoming unveiled its 2016 Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame class during halftime of Wednesday’s men’s basketball game against San Diego State.
Former Cowboys football standouts John Watts (1954-56), Jerry Durling (1965-66) and Aaron Kyle (1972-75); world champion steer wrestler Frank Shepperson (1961-64); men’s swimmer Lynn Stetson (1980-83); women’s basketball player Hanna Zavecz (2005-08); and broadcaster Dave Walsh (1984-present), the “Voice of the Cowboys,” were honored for their individual achievements while the 1976 UW football team also was recognized.
