Wyoming was named “the best college logo” for 2020 by College Sports Logos on twitter and with a rating of 6.2/10 on SportsLogo.com. Wyoming beat out some of the top teams in the nation, including Boise State, San Jose State University and Brigham Young University to name a few.
“Wyoming is our champion,” College Sports Logos said on Twitter on April 6. “To them, it’s not just a logo but a way of life.”
Wyoming beat out South Dakota State for the championship. Wyoming won the competition by more than 52%.
The Wyoming Bucking Horse and Rider, a symbol of the cowboy way and also the state of Wyoming, was trademarked in 1936, but it could be argued for 1918.
