Wyoming soccer scores twice in second half to defeat Southern Utah

The University of Wyoming soccer team took advantage of a mistake by Southern Utah to earn a 2-1 victory over the Thunderbirds on Friday in Cedar City, Utah.

Southern Utah led 1-0 at the half, but UW freshman Sekoya Romero (Laramie) got the tying goal in the 67th minute off an assist from Annika Clayton.

The game-winner for the Cowgirls (5-1-2) actually came off an own goal by the T-Birds (1-7-0) in the 83rd minute.
