The Wyoming soccer team opened its 2019 campaign with a 2-all overtime draw against UTEP on Thursday night in El Paso, Texas.
The Cowgirls got on the board first when freshman Jamie Tatum found the back of the net in the 23rd minute. UTEP got the equalizer just over a minute later on a goal from Danielle Carreon.
Wyoming pushed to a 2-1 advantage at the 76-minute mark thanks to an unassisted goal from freshman Indianna Asimus. But the Miners answered with Lauren Crenshaw's goal in the 80th minute. Neither team was able to score in the overtime periods.
