Wyoming women's soccer fought Montana to a scoreless tie in the Cowgirls' season opener at Missoula, Montana, on Friday evening.
The Cowgirls had a 6-1 edge in shots on goal, but could not find the back of the net.
In goal, Georgia Rowntree played the first half for Wyoming, recording one save, while Cassidy Entsminger preserved the shutout in the second half and both overtime periods.
Wyoming (0-0-1) travels to play Hawai'i on Thursday and then will also face Denver in Honolulu on Aug. 29.
