The University of Wyoming men's golf team grabbed the lead at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational on Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Cowboys carded a 280 for a two-round score of 567 (-9) to lead Colorado by one stroke heading into Sunday's final round.
Leading the way for UW were senior John Murdock (Laramie) and sophomore Carl Underwood, who are tied for seventh place with 3-under 141.
Junior Dan Starzinski is one stroke back and tied for 10th with a 142, followed by freshmen Tyler Severin (147) and Jimmy Dales (148).
