The 17th-ranked University of Wyoming men's cross country team and Colorado State shared the top spot in the Mountain West midseason coaches' poll.
The Cowboys, who won the Wyoming Invite earlier this month, were picked behind CSU in the preseason poll, but both team received 57 points in Thursday's poll.
The UW women's team was picked eighth in the poll, the same spot it occupied in the preseason poll. New Mexico garnered all 10 first-place votes to lead the poll.
