After a two-week layoff, the University of Wyoming men's cross-country team returns to action Friday at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Indiana.
The Cowboys will compete in the Blue Division, which includes two nationally ranked teams in No. 2 BYU and No. 28 Furman.
UW junior Paul Roberts is coming off a winning performance at the season-opening Wyoming Invitational, finishing the 5k course in 15 minutes, 8 seconds. Following him in the Cowboys' lineup were juniors Christopher Henry (Laramie) and Harry Ewing, who placed fifth and 10th, respectively, to help UW to a second-place finish.
