University of Wyoming junior Karla Contreras earned Mountain West Conference Diver of the Week honors last week for her 18-point cumulative effort in the Cowgirls' 176.5-123.5 win against Northern Colorado over the weekend. It is the first time this season, fifth time in her career, that Contreras has earned the conference honor.
Contreras won the 1-meter dive by nearly 25 points with a score of 253.35. She won the 3-meter dive with a 244.13.
