The Wyoming volleyball team came away with two victories at the Gonzaga Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The day began with a 3-1 (28-26, 22-25, 25-19, 25-23) win over Utah before closing out the tournament with another 3-1 (24-26, 28-26, 25-17, 25-20) victory over Montana.
Senior libero Allison Waldvogel, junior outside hitter Laura Beach and freshman setter/libero Cori Aafedt each had career matches against Utah. Waldvogel recorded a career-high and set a new school record in four sets with 35 digs, while Beach tied a career-high in kills with 17. Aafedt recorded the lone double-double for the Cowgirls against Utah.
