The University of Wyoming Football team would lose to the University Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, 13-17 on Saturday October 6 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Wyoming would strike first off of a 40-yard field goal by Cooper Rothe midway through the first quarter. Hawaii would respond with a field goal of their own halfway through the second quarter. Hawaii and Wyoming would enter the half tied 3-3. Wyoming would strike first in the second half thanks to defensive end Carl Granderson who would intercept a pass and take it 61 yards for a touchdown with a little over eight minutes remaining in the third quarter.
