University of Wyoming senior Christopher Henry qualified for the NCAA Cross Country Championships with a 17th-place finish at the NCAA Mountain Region Championship on Friday in Salt Lake City.
The Laramie native finished the 10k course in 30 minutes, 56.6 seconds to help lead the Cowboys to a sixth-place finish. Fellow seniors Paul Roberts and Harry Ewing finished 27th and 46th, respectively. Rounding out the Cowboys' lineup were Jerald Taylor in 63rd and Daniel Hintz in 65th.
The Cowgirls placed 12th in the team standings, with Katelyn Mitchem the top finisher. The sophomore completed the 6k course in 20:02.
