Led by sophomore Drew McCullough's 1-under 71 on Saturday, the University of Wyoming men's golf team tied for fifth place at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, California.
McCullough finished with a two-day total of 1-over 145 to tie for 13th. Sean Walsh of Gonzaga won the event with a 5-under 139.
Rounding out the scoring for the Cowboys were Ryan Wallen with a 148, Kamrin Allen (Sheridan) with a 150, Quintin Pope (Cheyenne East) with a 154 and Glenn Workman with a 158.
Wyoming and Cal Poly tied for fifth overall with a score of 593 (+17); Kansas won the team title with a 575 (-1).
