The University of Wyoming men's golf team was 13th after the opening round of the Wyoming Cowboy Desert Intercollegiate on Friday at Palm Springs, Calif.
Sophomore Drew McCullough paced the Cowboys with a two-over par 74, followed by junior Ryan Wallen (75). Senior Kamrin Allen (Sheridan) shot a 76 and sophomore Quintin Pope (Cheyenne East) carded an 82.
