Wyoming allowed Weber State to shoot 68.2% from the field in the second half of an 84-71 loss on Saturday night at the Arena-Auditorium.
Akuel Kot scored 24 points and Sam Griffin added 22 points to lead the Cowboys (6-4), who shot 49.1% but couldn’t keep up with the Wildcats (6-4).
Weber State, coming off a 72-55 defeat at Nevada, scored 46 points in the paint and went 15-for-15 at the free throw line while shooting 56% from the field for the game.
Dillon Jones finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and one turnover to lead the visitors.
