On Thursday, Sept. 15, during the UniWyo invite, Graduate student Kailey Carissa (KC) McMahon became the 13th University of Wyoming volleyball player to record 1000 kills, making her a member of the 1000-kill club.
She is the first Cowgirl to join this club during the 2022 season. The last person to achieve 1000 kills was Jackie McBride during the 2021 season. There are a total of 13 people in this club in its history.
“That was awesome,” McMahon said. “Overall, we felt really confident going into that second game. a lot of my best friends are on the team so it was great to share it with them.
