The University of Denver’s DU Relays meets had the UW swimmers working together in a relay-only meet. Denver hosted its UD relay meet last weekend, Inviting Adams State University, Colorado School of Mines, and The University of Wyoming to their pool to swim in teams. The events got heated with teammates cheering on relay partners hoping to touch the wall first.
The meet had 20 events, 10 of them being for the women’s heats 10 of which being for the men’s heats. They two teams would be competing separately for points in their own races. However, when the end of the meet comes the officials add up the score of the boy’s swimmers with the girl’s swimmers to get the combined points of the whole team.
