The University of Wyoming volleyball team couldn't overcome a slow start and lost to rival Colorado State in the annual Border War at Fort Collins, Colorado, late Tuesday night, 3-1 (25-20, 25-19, 16-25, 25-22). Wyoming's one set victory was the first time in over a calendar year that a conference opponent won a set against Colorado State at its home Moby Arena (October 24, 2017).
Junior Halie McArdle led the Cowgirls with a new season-high 14 kills to go along with seven digs. Freshman KC McMahon tallied a career-high four aces, part of Wyoming's 10 for the match, a new season record for aces in a single match.
