Second quarter changes game dynamics

The Wyoming Cowboys, now 4-1 for the first time since 2007, scored 53 points to hold off the University of Nevada Las Vegas to 17.

“The second quarter changed the whole dynamics of the game and the pace of the game.” UW Coach Craig Bohl said.

While the defense kept forcing out turnovers from their end, the offense put up six straight scoring possessions before the first half ended. Redshirt freshman quarterback Sean Chambers led the second quarter with a 17-yard rushing touchdown following freshman Titus Swen’s career high 59-yard carry.
