Maxwell Smith completed 12 of 19 passes for 138 yards and three touchdowns, including first-half scoring tosses of 7 and 4 yards to Mikah Holder -- the second of which put San Diego State up 21-0 with just 29 seconds left in the second quarter.
San Diego State (7-3, 6-0 Mountain West), which finished with 293 yards rushing, has won 18 in a row when it has at least 200 yards rushing, including each of its conference games this season.
