The Pokes lost a frustrating conference matchup against the San Jose State University (SJSU) Spartans, 33-16, on October 1.
After a loss to BYU last week, the Cowboys were looking to get back into the win column against SJSU.
The Pokes began with a shaky start, with Quarterback Peasley getting hurt on the first offensive play of the game. The backup, Clemons came in and gave the starter a few plays to get back in his rhythm.
Despite the early mishaps, they were still able to get into field goal range, and let Hoyland punch in a kick to make it 3-0.
