In the 2012-13 academic year, the Rams topped the Mountain West Conference in football recruiting expenses at $460,600 — well above Wyoming’s $169,623. The Rams’ 2013 recruiting class included players like Rashard Higgins, who led the nation in receiving yards as a sophomore.
