Levi Williams, the former quarterback for the Pokes has announced that he will forgo playing his last season at Utah State. He intends to apply for Navy Seal training after the 2023 season.
He made his announcement on the Salt Lake City radio station KSL 97.5 FM this Monday.
“It’s something that took a lot of thought and consideration. I love football and it’s so great but I knew that eventually it was going to come to an end,” Williams said.
Williams has a strong family background in the military, which played into his decision. “My mom, she was in the Army.
