RIO DE JANEIRO -- Former Wyoming golfer David Hearn shot a 2-over 73 on Thursday in the first round of Olympic golf since 1904. Hearn, who is competing for his native Canada, is tied for 42nd in the 60-player field.
Hearn shot par on the first hole but notched a double-bogey on the par-5 second hole, adding two bogeys in his 4-over 39 on the front nine. Hearn finished with birdies on three of his last four holes on the back nine.
