The Wyoming Cowgirls volleyball team won on the road, beating Fresno State bulldogs in an impressive four-set victory, the final scores being 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, and 25-14.
On Saturday, Oct.15, the Cowgirls started off strong, losing to the Bulldogs by only two points. They then picked up the pace, winning the next three games and paving the way for a UW victory.
Junior Naya Shimé was the frontwoman for the Cowgirls Saturday night, leading the team with 18 kills, five digs, and two blocks. Not far behind was graduate student KC McMahon who leaped off the bench and lobbied 11 kills for the Cowgirls.
