The Wyoming Cowgirls secured a win over Wichita State on Friday night in just four sets, but lost to Creighton Saturday.
After losing the first set 17-25 on Friday, Wyoming won the second, third, and fourth set against Wichita. In the second set, the Cowgirls trailed behind Wichita, but turned the game around after tying it 19-19. Taking the score to 24-19, the Cowgirls scored eight consecutive points against Wichita, the second set ending up 25-19.
The third set followed a similar pattern as the second set where the Cowgirls trailed behind Wichita, but turned it around ending with a score of 25-22.
