Cowgirls Soccer Ties Montana in Second Overtime

The University of Wyoming Cowgirls soccer team tied the University of Montana 0-0 in double overtime Friday at the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex in Laramie.

“I thought the energy and effort was there,” Cowgirls’ head coach Pete Cuadrado said. “We’ve got to clean up things and that’s part of it. We’ve got a ton of freshman up top and I think it’s just the details.”

The Cowgirls started the game with a shot on goal from senior mid-fielder Annika Clayton. The Cowgirls had two shots on goal during the first half, the other coming from freshman Kennedy Schomer.
