The Cowgirls have rolled through their first two games in their home tournament, taking down both Coppin State and Albany in their first two games with a matchup against Utah on tap tomorrow.
The Cowgirls opened up the tournament by making quick work of last year’s MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) champions in the Coppin State Eagles. The Cowgirls cruised by the Eagles in the first two sets, taking both of those sets by a score of 25-14. The second set saw the Cowgirls go on an impressive 15-4 scoring run after the Eagles had tied them up at 10 a piece.
