University of Wyoming junior Ja'la Henderson once again put her name in the UW record books Saturday.
Henderson became the first Cowgirl to win the triple jump at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with a mark of 42 feet, 11 inches to tie her own school record.
In addition to Henderson's impressive feat, three other Wyoming athletes had top-three finishes Saturday.
Freshman William Nolan (Cheyenne South) went 49-6.5 in the triple jump to finish second, while junior Jerayah Davis (Kelly Walsh) was the runner-up in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.35 seconds and junior Jackson Wood finished third in the 400 in 48.
