The University of Wyoming women’s golf team kicked things off yesterday at the Pat Bradley Women’s Invitational in Bradenton, Florida at the par-72 Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
As a team, Wyoming scored a 16-over 304 for the day to end the first round in 12th on Sunday, October 21st. The Pokes sit only four shots back from sixth.
Cowgirl standout junior Erin Sargent played her way into a tie for third after 18 holes on Sunday. Sargent matched her season low with a 70 in her first of three rounds for the week, and she sits just two shots back from leader Natalia Villavicencio heading into Monday’s second round.
