The Wyoming Cowgirls dominated wire to wire against the San Jose State Spartans, ending a four game losing streak.
The Cowgirls put on an impressive offensive display, particularly from beyond the arc as they’d hit a season high 15 threes in the game, a welcome sight as the Cowgirls have struggled with poor perimeter shooting during their four game losing stretch.
The Cowgirls would open the game on a 10-2 run, catching fire early with two threes from Ola Ustowska and Malene Pederson. Tess Barnes would knock down a pair of triples early as well, but that’d be answered by the Spartans with a pair of threes of their own, as they’d get themselves back in the game as the Cowgirl lead was 16-13.
