The University of Wyoming men’s basketball team beat Grambling State 86 – 78 this past Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Arena Auditorium in Laramie.
The Cowboys were led by senior Justin James who had 23 points and went 13 – 13 on free throws. He was followed by sophomore Hunter Maldonado and freshmen TJ Taylor, both of whom had 21 points. Taylor’s 21 points was the most scored by a freshman since Desmar Jackson scored 31 points at Utah in 2010.
“I just wanted to do what coach needed me to do,” TJ Taylor said. “I was just playing my game.
