After their 24-15 victory over Colorado State last Friday, the Wyoming Cowboys are bowl eligible. This means that for the third straight year the Pokes will play in an extra game after the regular season against a non-conference opponent.
This will be the 6th bowl appearance for the Cowboys under Craig Bohl, who is the most successful coach in the team’s history for wins and bowl games. Bohl is 3-2 in bowl games with the Pokes, with a heartbreaking overtime loss coming against the Ohio Bobcats last December in the Arizona Bowl.
The Mountain West is guaranteed six bowl bids this season.
