Heading into the spring season, the University of Wyoming men and the Eastern Wyoming College women lead the team standings through five fall rodeos.
The Cowboys scored the majority of their 2,700 points in the timed events in building a lead over defending CRMR champ Sheridan College (2,165 points) and Gillette College (2,025).
The UW team of Caden Camp and JC Flake top the team roping standings, while Kade Greer leads the way in the steer wrestling. Also sitting in the top five heading into the weekend are bulldoggers Ty Everson and Gage Greer, tie-down ropers Jase Staudt and Seth Peterson, and team roper Denton Shaw.
