In a game that many predicted to be low scoring and evenly match, the University of Wyoming Cowboys football team were able to pull off a defeat against the Central Michigan University Chippewas by a score of 37-14.
Wyoming faced CMU on Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl located at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho.
Wyoming would end up forcing eight turnovers in the game setting a new school record. Offensively Wyoming accumulated 275 total yards of offense. Quarterback Josh Allen would go 11-19 passing gaining 154 yards. As a team, Wyoming would rush for 121 yards.
