The Cowboys look towards their last three games, and have qualified for a bowl game in December. They can also play in the Mountain West championship game if all goes well.
With their record of 6-3, and 4-1 in the conference, they are second to Boise State in the Mountain division. The Boise State Broncos are 5-0 inside the conference, and with their upcoming matchup on Nov. 19 at War Memorial Stadium against the Pokes, that could change.
If in the meantime, the Cowboys beat Colorado State and the Broncos beat Nevada, they will be competing for the lead of the division.
