Wyoming ended the season on a four-game winning streak in large part because of a quarterback change that’s sparked the biggest question surrounding the Cowboys in the offseason. Craig Bohl benched Tyler Vander Waal after seven and a half games in favor of true freshman Sean Chambers, who accounted for 595 yards and five touchdowns in 10 quarters before suffering a season-ending injury. Vander Waal took over again and led a fourth-quarter comeback against Air Force but completed less than half his passes on the season for an offense that finished last in the Mountain West in scoring and tied for last in passing yards.
