The time has come for a change with the under-achieving women's basketball team.
On Friday, Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball head coach Bobbie Kelsey was officially fired, according to Wisconsin Athletics. Kelsey's tenure in Madison ends with an overall record of 47-100, including a 19-65 conference record within the Big Ten.
Kelsey, who was an assistant coach for Boise State, Florida, Evansville, Western Carolina, Virginia Tech and Stanford before taking her first head coaching job with the Badgers, wasn't able to translate the great things her players did as students (21 Academic All-Big Ten honors, 100 percent graduation rate) into success on the court.
