After two wins to close out the regular season, the Wisconsin Badgers (17-3 Big Ten, 23-6 overall) found out their postseason destiny Sunday night as Madison gets set to prepare for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
The Badgers earned the Number 2 seed in the lower right side of the bracket — which features Nebraska, more on that in a bit — and will face the Fairfield Stags (17-1 MAAC, 21-11 overall) in their first match of the tournament on Thursday.
It’s the 12th straight season the Badgers got to the NCAA Tournament and the 28th appearance overall as a program.
