Four Wisconsin Badgers were honored by the AVCA Wednesday by being named to the All-American Teams.
Outside hitter Sarah Franklin was named a First Team All-American, becoming just the fifth Badger to be named to the First Team.
Franklin has been outstanding this season, winning both the Big Ten Player of the Year honors and the 2023 AVCA Northeast Regional Player of the Year. She is 28th nationally in the country in kills per set with 4.19 while hitting .305 percent on the season. Additionally, Franklin has been a true six-rotation player, getting a lot of passing opportunities from serve receive and coming up with 1.
