The Wisconsin Badgers (2-1 Big Ten, 8-4 overall) won their second match in a row in a sweep, beating the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (0-3, 5-9) in straight sets (25-18, 25-14, 25-18).
After a tight first few points, the Badgers found themselves trailing Rutgers 5-3 as head coach Kelly Sheffield took an early timeout. Out of the break, the Badgers built a 6-0 run to force a Rutgers timeout as senior Julia Orzou0142 had four kills at that point in the frame.
The Scarlet Knights were holding on before the Badgers went up 20-15 and cruised to win the first set 25-18.
