The Wisconsin Badgers came out of a grueling opening start to non-conference play, losing three matches to teams ranked in the Top 10.
Although there is a ways to go, the No. 6 Badgers (2-3) picked up two wins in five-setters this past weekend: over TCU (25-15, 27-29, 21-25, 25-16, 15-11) on Friday and over No. 23 Baylor (25-18, 25-14, 18-25, 22-25, 16-14) on Saturday. And some adjustments to the lineup across the weekend seemed to help settle UW into better play.
In the match-up against the TCU Horned Frogs, Wisconsin got out to a strong start, winning the opening set 25-15.
