The No. 7 Wisconsin Badgers (17-3 Big Ten, 25-6 overall) ended its season with two wins at home — a five-set win over Ohio State (7-13, 14-16) on Wednesday and a 3-1 win over the Michigan State Spartans (6-14, 13-18) Saturday night.
The first match against the Buckeyes on Wednesday, which the Badgers won 3-2 (25-23, 25-14,21-25, 24-26, 15-12) saw UW go out to a two-set lead before letting OSU back into the match.
In the opening set, the two teams traded blows and leads, with OSU holding a 23-21 lead late on in the set.
