Ahead of UW diving into conference play, the Wisconsin Badgers (6-3) won two matches over the weekend in sweeps, posting 3-0 wins over the Troy Trojans (5-5) on Friday and the Texas A&M Aggies (9-1) on Saturday.
Friday night, UW found it easy going against the Trojans, sweeping Troy 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-14) as the Badgers found balance in their attack the whole night.
Senior Anna Smrek led the team with 10 kills while adding seven blocks on the evening. Senior outside hitter Sarah Franklin had nine kills while senior Devyn Robinson had eight as the Badgers hit .
