MADISON—At some points of Friday night’s contest against the Maryland Terrapins with the game close or tied, it seemed the Wisconsin Badgers could not make the right play to pull ahead.
Then in the last 4:37 of the game, Wisconsin surged ahead in regaining the lead and ultimately holding off Maryland in a 69-61 win at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers finished the game outscoring the Terps 15-6 to pull out the victory. Brad Davison scored 14 of his game-high 21 points in the second half—including five made free throws in that final stretch.
