MADISON—The Wisconsin Badgers released their 2019 spring roster on Wednesday just a day after the program’s spring practices kicked up inside the McClain Center.
Among the departures from the program, a UW official confirmed to B5Q and other media outlets that wide receiver Quintez Cephus, defensive end Kraig Howe, outside linebackers Mason Platter and Paul Jackson, and inside linebacker Ethan Cesarz were no longer with the team.
UW indefinitely suspended Cephus in late August 2018 according to its Student-Athlete Discipline Policy, and the wide out is awaiting a late July trial on sexual assault charges.
